There may be political storms ahead
But whilst there’s moonlight
And music and love and romance
Let's face the music and dance
Yes... Tickets for Party on the Park on June 27th are now available.
This year we have a wonderful line up. Beginning with Hipster (who need no introduction) but for those travelling further afield, Hipster are the ultimate party band who bring timeless classics to the party from artists like Fleetwood Mac and the Beatles alongside contemporary indie and pop hits such as Kings of Leon, The Killers, Harry Styles and Sam Fender.
Our headline act, back by popular demand, is Roy G Hemmings and the Dictionary of Soul and for those who missed them last time you are in for a treat. One of the UK’s leading authentic Soul and Motown Bands fronted by legendary showman Roy G Hemmings the longest serving member of the legendary Drifters. The show includes songs by Otis Reading, James Brown, The Supremes to name but a few and also features the Prim-ettes who add a stunning dimension of smooth harmonies and slick Motown dance routines.
Your Compere for the evening is Dave Johnson of Blue Sky Radio who again will ensure proceedings run smoothly, warming you up and keeping you in the dance floor.
